Augusto Castro @ Beijing testing out the Olympic track

The 2008 Beijing Olympic games was historical event for the sport of BMX and Psykopath is proud of our own rider Augusto Castro(6 times UCI worlds champion) to represent our name and our products to the world of BMX. Unfortunately Augusto took a spill to get a better position in the qualifying rounds and not making the main. Augusto said "Although I didnt make the podium in Beijing but im proud to be selected from my country to represent." After taking the loss hard Augusto is determined and training hard for the upcoming 2009 season. I promise you will see him in the front of the pack at ABA & UCI races trying to earn his respect back!

Cow Palace Bike convention! Nov. 28th & 29th
Psykopath Industries was one of the big sponsors of the bike expo this past weekend in the San Francisco. It was alot of fun hanging out with everyone looking at product from vendors and bike shops. Also other riders that had a few extra parts in their garage that they didnt need anymore. Psykopath had our display stand out there to show our frames and products right in front of the First Rule bike show with all the ramps. Psykopath did good, We had alot of riders and bike shops that were interested in our products! Its was a good event for everyone to go to and enjoy a nice time. Alot of riders were tearing it up along with our own rider Tony Campos. Heres a couple of pictures. Thanks to First Rule and Ride SFO! Also to everyone else who made the event happen. GOOD NEWS!!! After a couple years of going to meetings with the county and endless questions from concerned neighbors Carl Renowitzky and the East Bay Bmx committe finally got approval from the county to build a local bmx race track for the community to benefit. The track will be in the empty lot behind the San Lorenzo adult school. We still have a couple of things to go over with the county about before we can start the building process. Hopefully we will be up and running the track before the summer so we can get alot of new riders and make the sport of bmx a major sport like it should be! So look out for the new track in the east bay. Also we will like to thank all the riders that made it out to each and every meeting. Not pictured is Manny Hernandez, who has been a major player in getting this track approved, he will be the new Track Director.
